Windswept Acres offers a variety of room choices:
The Northeast Room, the larger of the two farmhouse rooms, features a queen-size bed and private entrance with a large shared deck facing east.
The Southeast Room features a double bed and private entrance, sharing the deck with the Northeast Room.
In addition, we offer the Sugar House — a rustic cabin reminiscent of the farm’s earliest days but including a full kitchen, twin beds, a small living/dining room and an extra room that will accommodate air mattresses if occupancy is desired for up to four. Water? You bet! Up until this year, there was an old-fashioned hand pump by the sink, but now we can offer hot and cold running water!. There is an outdoor shower available for your convenience at the main house. (And yes — “rustic” means you’ll be using a traditional New England outhouse which replaced the original one this year). Ideal for the adventurous, for hunters looking for a camp, or just for those who cherish their privacy and appreciate the view across the pond and down into the valley.
Finally, we offer a site suitable for RVs and campers, offering electric hookup, water hookup, grey-water disposal, fire pit, and a great view of the property.

The Northeast Room
Our “roomier” room, with queen-size bed and room to settle in to read, or work, or just relax and rest. The room has its own entrance that opens onto an expansive, east-facing deck.
This room shares a bathroom with one other room.
The Southeast Room
Our smaller room, with full-size bed: a little bit smaller and a little bit cheaper, but still exquisitely comfortable. This room also has its own entrance that opens onto an east-facing deck.
This room shares a bathroom with one other room.
The Sugar House
A comfortable, rustic, converted Sugar House with kitchen, living area, and room for up to four at a flat rate – and a great view of the sunrise!
“Rustic” used to include an outhouse and “pump-your-own” well water, but we’ve recently added running hot and cold water! There is still an outhouse, but we just replaced the 50-year old one with a brand new one with a better view.
You will also have access to a fire pit, an outdoor shower, a large pond for swimming and fishing, and plenty of hiking to do in every direction.
The Campsite
Enjoy the convenience, privacy, and beautiful surroundings of our RV-ready campsite!
Electric, water, and greywater disposal (no septic, sorry), a new, modern outhouse, a big fire pit, and plenty of surrounding lawn space between you and the pond.
Campsite guests have access to their own fire pit, a large pond for swimming and fishing, and plenty of hiking to do in every direction. There is also an outdoor shower available for camper use.
Best of all: it’s the only site! Just you.
